The Power of The Next 5 Minutes
What are you doing in the next 5 minutes?
It's not a trick question. What are you going to do?
Excellence is the next five minutes. Your next email. Your next meeting... or nothing at all. - Tom Peters
A few years ago I wrote about mastery, my word for excellence. In the next 5 minutes, everything can change.
But this is not about my work. Today, I want to share something unique and that can make a significant difference in your world.
I've been inspired by my friend Cindy Skalicky 🔷. Cindy is an expert at helping you get your message across, clearly, confidently, and with impact. Talk about mastery... Cindy, CEO of OnPoint Communications, will help you master the message.
In her latest article, she asks, "What if you only had 5 minutes to address an audience?"
You can find Cindy's latest article and her offer for Message Mastery here.
Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood. - Stephen R. Covey
So much of communication these days is missed. There's just too much noise stealing our awareness and our consciousness.
I have found that one of the foundations of great leadership is being able to clearly get your message heard and understood.

Communicate, Communicate, Communicate.
Peopling is hard! - Client

The ability to effectively communicate cannot be understated.
Want to nail it?
Cindy works with leaders and teams to "Nail it" with their audiences.
She regularly shares tips each week and here is a sampling of two that I'm sure you will find useful:
There is a great opportunity in the next 5 minutes. In the next 5 minutes, everything can change. Excellence is the next 5 minutes.
What will you do next to be excellent?
